Driving success at Capita Learning a BI Analyst and Systems Manager:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced BI Data Analyst to join our busy and fast paced team. Working with stakeholders across the whole of Capita Learning you will be responsible for, not only, the analysis of the data but also turning this into meaningful recommendations to the stakeholders enabling them to implement business improvements.
We are looking for someone with a good level of experience in Tableau ideally however we would very much consider someone with Qliksense as well. The right person for this role will have a pragmatic approach to their work and a real desire to benefit the business with accurate and timely data reporting.
What you’ll be doing:
Implementing common practices and approach to ensure consistency of insight and data.
Design and develop BI and MI solutions that will increase capability on behalf of the function.
Facilitate timely, relevant, and accurate management information via number of agreed delivery mechanisms, using the Capita Learning BI technology stack into push reporting and automated self-service reports via a range of BI platforms
Implement a reporting framework to ensure reporting is developed and delivered within the agreed SLA’s.
Responsible for understanding existing and facilitating the agreement of new business processes and detailed requirements.
Partnership/networking with internal teams and the relevant support functions within our client areas.
Ensure the timely production of MI, BI and KPI’s are published with supportive value-add commentary.
Maintain industry best practice in analysis techniques and demonstrate application within Managed Learning Services
What we’re looking for:
Experience with BI visualisation packages of Power BI, QlikSense and NPrinting.
Good Experience with programming languages and databases - MSSQL, SSRS and ETL processes
Hands-on experience with reporting standards and end user applications
Proven working experience as a business analyst in business intelligence field in a similar fast paced commercial environment.
A flexible and proactive approach to work always with the ability to manage multiple projects, reports and deadlines showing a commitment to getting to job done
Can evidence previous experience of clearly communicating technical/system information to audiences with technical and non-technical backgrounds
