Summary:

Set up services, review loan file, and prepare disclosure documents on all new Home Equity and First Mortgage loan applications.  Additionally, updating and maintaining accurate HMDA records; processing canceled and denied files in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Order mortgage services, Appraisal, Title, Flood, on all Home Equity and Frist Mortgage loans put into processing. 
• Furthermore, complete any follow up with the same vendors as needed. Update fields and upload documents to the file in Mortgage system.
• Assign and deliver loan file to the processor or UW.
• Run, manage and maintain the disclosure report on a daily basis.
• Print and send out all HE and First Mortgage disclosures within the regulation timeline, keeping BCU in compliance.
• Recognize and analyze real estate documents and compare to DU requirements.
• Manage and maintain HMDA reporting within the mortgage platform.
• Oversee the mortgage department’s physical and electronic mailbox for incoming conditions; scan, upload and categorize in the loan file.
• Answer general member questions on the phone queue and/or transfer the member to the appropriate mortgage team member.
• Provide back-up for various tasks within the Mortgage Department.
• May perform additional duties upon request.

Qualifications:

• Current mortgage experience equaling 1+ years.
• Good communication, organizational and analytical skills
• PC skills including Microsoft Office, Mortgage Application and Imaging Systems
•  Ability to prioritize a varied workload and to maintain accuracy in a high volume environment
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times
• Cooperate with other department personnel to ensure a “team effort” and prompt member service
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as they arise
