·  Job Duties:

• Own and complete development tickets during sprints
• Collaborate with team members to ideate engineering approaches and solutions, research and scope options, and present and assess trade-offs to inform decisions
• Build back-end components and RESTful APIs using Python, NodeJS, AWS services, and a variety of databases (relational, graph, NoSQL)
• Configure and maintain repeatable infrastructure-as-code (using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm)
• Configure and maintain CICD pipelines to deploy code (using GitLab CI/CD)
• Manage and implement multiple AWS services
• Pursue proof of concepts to validate ideas
• Produce and maintain technical architecture diagrams and documentation
• Perform peer code reviews and mentor other team members
• Proactively communicate status updates

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing, building, launching, and maintaining web-based software-as-a-service solutions
• 3+ years of experience with back-end / RESTful API development (Python, FastAPI)
• 3+ years of experience working in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments and services (EKS, ECR, EC2, S3, CloudWatch)
• 3+ years of experience with building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, GitLab CI/CD or equivalent)
• 3+ years of experience with relational, graph, or NoSQL databases (at least one of the following: PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, ArangoDB, Neo4J)
• Familiarity with test automation and test-driven development
• Experience using identity and access management solutions for user authentication and authorization
• BS in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certifications
• Mastery/Expertise in Python
• Mastery/Expertise in PostgreSQL, ArangoDB, Cassandra
• Mastery/Expertise in DevOps (GitLab CICD, containers and orchestration, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), entity resolution, and processing large amounts of data
• Experience with Keycloak Identity and Access Management
