Responsibilities

• Perform thorough analysis of Azure spend across MCAPS, to identify opportunities to drive down Azure costs.
• Design and develop compliance standards for Azure consumption across all MCAPS Azure services.
• Lead cross-organizational teams to develop, enhance and maintain cost optimization.
• Drive programmatic change across MCAPS to improve the overall cost posture.
• Build and establish positive working relationships with stakeholders and leadership and engage as a trusted advisor.
• Actively create opportunities for synergies across customer, partner, and internal groups to drive long-term solutions and shared roadmaps in the cost optimization space.
• Develop reporting and metrics to enhance tracking and create awareness within the cost optimization program.
• Work closely with various engineering organizations and tool owners to support programmatic initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Overall 9+ years of experience. 
• 3+ years of combined technical Azure and cost optimization governance.
• Demonstrated ability to incorporate diverse perspectives to thoroughly address complex business issues

• Understanding of Kusto and KQL language
• Understanding of PowerBI and PowerBI Desktop
• Understanding of contemporary cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, Saas) with emphasis on Microsoft technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

Additional Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to perform complex process reviews, interpret the results and articulate the findings in a clear and concise manner
• Experience in software program management, Feature Program Manager, or equivalent
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to tailor communications based on audience
• Ability to analyze complex problems, think creatively, communicate recommendations, influence change and drive process and structure into an extremely dynamic environment
