Work you’ll do 

• Support the definition of the architectural principals and services for the highly available operational cloud environment.
• Support the development of the cloud strategy and cloud migration approach.
• Advise, implement, and operate AWS cloud services.
• Analyze workload architectures.
• Provide operational support to production environments including their respective development and test environments.
• Analyze performance and capacity and undertake performance improvements.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of performance issues that affect the reliability, recoverability, availability, and accessibility of systems and applications.
• Perform and document work, ensuring appropriate communication with all customers and other stakeholders and prioritizing work to meet deadlines.

Qualifications 

Required: 

• 2+ years working in a cloud infrastructure environment  
• Knowledge of the AWS Well Architected Framework of operational excellence, security, reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, VPC, S3, SNS, SQS, and ECS.
• Experience with open-source tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Skills such as flexibility, eagerness to learn, time management, stakeholder communications, and decisiveness.
• Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements.
• Secret Clearance 
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
