Retail Banking and Wealth Management serves more than 50 million customers worldwide with a complete range of banking and wealth management services to enable them to manage their finances and protect and build their financial futures. We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as AVP Liquidity Sales, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets. 

You will provide leading sales support to the Liquidity sales team and their Clients. You will form an integral part of the overall sales and service proposition of this distribution channel, in order to meet growth strategy targets for net sales and increase market share. Primarily it will provide client service to assist in maximizing our effectiveness in managing our client relationships, asset growth and service.

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to success of growth strategy 
  • Be responsible for  all aspects of client needs
  • Be responsible for all aspects of sales support and where required client servicing needs 
  • Actively participate in pre and post sales preparation. See example of duties below.
  • Execute tasks timely to include – Client Account monitoring for purpose of prospecting / Client research / on boarding / response time to clients and sales managers / coordination and distribution of investment marketing / fund queries /  CRM tool maintenance / Monitor market and competitor data / review RD portfolios
  • Have ongoing interaction with Client and Sales Managers to ensure a comprehensive relationship coverage.
  • Coordinate between other business teams eg – Client Propositions/ Sales
  • Account Manage – engage with existing clients in Corporate (CMB LC) and FIG (CMB NBFI) to retain / grow
  • Maintain records on CRM tool
  • Maintain a broad understanding of  industry and market knowledge
 

Qualifications

 

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Have good knowledge of HSBC Global Asset Management Products and Services
  • Have broad understanding of retail and banking markets
  • Have good analytical skills and attention to detail. Highly organized.
  • Be a self motivator
  • Be flexible, entusiastic attitude and ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Have the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Be team orientated
  • Be able to work at all levels of seniority.
