What you’ll achieve

As an Avamar Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for delivering backup expertise for Avamar/Data Domain and DPA, including Implementation and management of Avamar environments. You will work with be an advocate for the customer and providing input based on best practices and recommendations related to stability of their environments.

You will:

• Work with account team and Dedicated Support staff to recommend and manage patching of the Avamar environments, and others as needed.

• Provide implementation of patching when needed

• Partner with the Backup Engineering group to provide advanced administration and problem resolution assistance for several Avamar/Data Domain/VMware environments. 

• Work with account team and Dedicated Support staff to recommend and manage patching of the Avamar environments, and others as needed.

• Responsible for researching issues and assisting in quick problem resolution.

• Provide a resource to assist with communicating requirements to Dell Field Service Engineers for onsite work.

Essential Requirements

• 8+ years of professional Avamar solutions architecture experience with a Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience

• Extensive hands-on DellEMC Avamar and Data Domain experience including but not limited to implementations and problem resolutions

• Experience providing assistance and consulting with enterprise customers with the ability to communicate to all levels of an organization

• Ability to provide assistance for DPA reporting and initial technical knowledge of the overall environment
