Global Internal Audit provides independent, objective assurance to management and the risk and audit committees as to whether the framework of risk management, control, and governance processes, as designed and represented by management, is adequate and functioning.

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Audit Manager


The role of the Audit Manager is to support Senior Management in the delivery of audits with major and/or highly complex risk / internal control frameworks. 


You will be responsible for: 

  • Assisting in the consistent delivery of audit work across the Global Businesses and Global Functions. 
  • Engaging with and providing strategic advice to internal stakeholders by utilising knowledge of the business and the governance, risk and regulatory frameworks. 
  • Supporting the Senior Manager with internal and external stakeholders to deliver all key deliverables to high standards. 
  • Ensuring the Audit Plan is delivered and working to tight deadlines.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Experienced in internal audit across different areas of the organisation. 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment, handling multiple deliverables within a considered and structured work plan.
  • Experience of auditing new areas with limited prior knowledge and a track record of achieving great results.
  • Adept in dealing with senior stakeholders, an expert in negotiating challenge and creating strong levels of buy-in, in order to add value and enhance risk management.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to build constructive and effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong managerial, written and verbal communication skills, analytical, problem solving, organisational, decision-making and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to exercise discretion, work independently within broad guidelines, tactfully handle sensitive and confidential data and complete assignments timely.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The base location for this role is London or Birmingham. There is a requirement for domestic and international travel with this role.
