A bit about the job:

You will work collaboratively as part of an increasingly diverse and inclusive international team. Together we blend technical ability - whether generalist auditing or in specialist disciplines - with excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills.  The result is clear, robust, independent, and reliable opinions on the adequacy of Aviva's risk management and governance.
 

You will have an investigative mindset and creatively use data from across the business to create insight and value for stakeholders with findings using a cutting-edge data toolkit. You will be helping to cover all stages of the audit process from engagement planning, audit delivery and follow up recommendations. You will also help to support the embedding of data capabilities into audit working practices and the data analytics roadmap.

Aviva uses “smart-working”, and the person in this role will be based at our Norwich, Bristol, York or London offices.
 

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• BSc and/or MSc in Data Science / Computer Science / Statistics / Maths / Science based subjects.

• Experience in either data focused roles or audit ones with hands-on data analytics.

• Experience with SQL.

• Experience of creating visualisations and dashboards using Qliksense (preferred), Tableau, PowerBI or Looker.

• Knowledge of NLP/Text Analytics.

• Salary £28,150 to £52,300 London and £21,450 to £39,850 National (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
