We are looking for an experienced Audience Planning and Targeting Professional that will empower our marketing teams to reach the right audiences across all digital channels (email, paid media, web, etc.) using sophisticated database and analytical skills. As the CDP product owner, in this role, you will partner with brand, digital strategy, CRM and media to influence tactics that align with their audience strategy and deliver performance-based outcomes.
NOTE: This job is remote and can sit anywhere within the US.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Insights, Strategy, Planning:
To bring to bear available technology, datasets and partnerships to support business critical metrics and objectives.
In partnership with media and Customer Relationship Management teams, lead the development of audience-first go to market strategies aligned with business objectives backed into relevant critical metrics.
Translate business objectives into practical audiences, using 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data to drive personalization and segmentation that goes deeper than standard demographics.
Develop digital audience targeting roadmaps to evolve the organization's audience targeting capabilities.
Understanding and analyzing user behavior/trends, audience composition and engagement to gain a 360-degree view of professionals and consumers, across all touchpoints.
Contribute to integration of existing and new data platforms to unify multiple data sources and enable enriched audience segments for personalization.
Partner with analytics/data science team to refine models and business rules frameworks to advance targeting and personalization capabilities
Activation & Optimization:
Handle audience building and management within CRM and onboarding tool. Collaborate with platform activation teams who help recommend 2nd party and platform data to achieve business objectives.
Partner with cross functional team members to optimize targeting and execution approach to campaigns.
Supervise audience performance and partner with analysts to share reporting and insights with key partners.
Agency Partner:
Work with the Company’s agencies. Including core digital, media, and CRM agencies as well as identification and selection of specialist agencies as needed.
Communication and Best Practices:
Seek opportunities to foster an audience-first attitude and educate peers and partners. Keeps team up to date on privacy, GDPR/CCPA compliance, data depreciation and walled garden changes and implications to media and CRM campaigns.
Education/ Experience Requirements
Basic qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing or related field with 5+ years of digital marketing, CRM, or media experience. At least 3-5 years of proven ability working with self-service data platforms such as Google Analytics, Customer Data Platforms. Experience working with CRM data.
Preferred qualifications include: MBA applicable. BlueConic experience.

Extensive experience analyzing customer behavioral data with deep segmentation experiences
Sophisticated capabilities in extracting and manipulating large data sets using SQL
Experience in Liveramp tools a plus
Deep understanding of consumer privacy principles
Ability to work cross-functionally and lead simultaneous projects and needs
Shown experience with brand strategies and technical expertise
Strong bias for action and data-driven decisions.
Ability to handle ambiguity and thrive
Strong Project Management skills
Teammate with excellent social skills, particularly with diverse cultures
Flourishes with digital innovation and evaluating trends in a changing landscape
Proven record to work with marketing teams and build brands
Travel Requirements
Encouraged percentage of travel: 25%
