EY's GDS Assurance Digital team's mission is to develop, implement and integrate technology solutions that better serve our audit clients and engagement teams. As a member of EY's core Assurance practice, you'll develop a deep Audit related technical knowledge and outstanding database, data analytics and programming skills.
Ever-increasing regulations require audit departments to gather, organize and analyse more data than ever before. Often the data necessary to satisfy these ever-increasing and complex regulations must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization. Effectively and efficiently handling the variety and volume of data is often extremely challenging and time consuming for a company.
EY's GDS Assurance Digital team members work side-by-side with the firm's partners, clients and audit technical subject matter experts to develop and incorporate technology solutions that enhance value-add, improve efficiencies and enable our clients with disruptive and market leading tools supporting Assurance.
GDS Assurance Digital provides solution architecture, application development, testing and maintenance support to the global Assurance service line both on a pro-active basis and in response to specific requests.
EY is currently seeking for Passionate, self- driven, energetic, technology enthusiast to join the GDS Assurance Digital practice in Bangalore, India, to work on various Microsoft technology or SPA application based projects for customers across the globe. On Job training is part of this hiring.
Requirements (including experience, skills and additional qualifications)
A pursing master's degree in business management (MBA) most preferred.
As Digital team primary work on building complex and globally scalable solution and on niche technologies including Cloud stack, Big data and Data Science stream. We need candidate with high aptitude and very strong analytical skills who can solve complex problem in much simplified manner.
Skills/ trait's requirements:
• 4 to 7 years of IT experience as BA.
• SME in developing EHS and ESG functional requirements with respect to best practices in various industrial sector
• IsoMetrix/Other ESG certified resource with experience in developing software requirements based on client needs and optimal system functionality
• Proper understanding of IsoMetrix/other software capabilities including product release, patch process and implementation methodologies
• Experience in conducting functional, regression and ETE testing
• Exposure to EHS, Audit, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, EHS & ESG, Regulations and Compliance Content
• Participates in Business Process Management (BPM) including modeling processes using various notations (i.e., BPMN), creating components, implementing processes, and assessing the result
• Experience as a Business Analyst preferably in digital implementation project
• Ability to lead conversation with client, create mock ups and quick to learn the functionalities of the EHS platforms
• Platform thinking: Experience in re-purposing and scaling solutions across similar use cases, geographies and
• Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
• Strong Experience in running project with Agile methodology
• Managing multiple streams of projects under an agile framework
• Stakeholder management - ability to demo solutions, talk about technical possibilities for the problem at hand
• Banking and Capital Markets industry experience is added advantage
• Influences business partners and service providers regarding priorities, hardware/software selection and/or vendor selection.
• Analyse marketplace, industry, company, technology trends and best practices, vendor products and services, etc.
• Identifies and documents business strategies, objectives and drivers.
• Analyse and documents business processes and metrics, and identifies improvement opportunities.
• Calculates/estimates costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their viability/ROI.
• Re-engineers processes to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.
• Identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes. s
• Assesses, applies and projects the impact of system changes on users and internal and external clients or stakeholders.
• Uses knowledge of systems and industry requirements to develop or modify complex information systems.
• Writes test plans and test cases to ensure changes which are made to the application meet client needs and that application integrity is maintained.
• Conducts a variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness and acceptance tests. Ensures changes made by programmers are correct.
• Conducts tests using client data to be certain client needs will be met.
• Verifies through testing that changes made by programmers to one part of the application do not impact other parts.
• Reports and reviews testing results.
• Trains internal employees or external clients on changes, new systems or new procedures. Conducts one-on-one or classroom training depending upon the size or desire of the audience.
• Considers business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.
