Job Description

Reporting to the Senior, Executive Chef, you, the Associate Development Chef will manage the functions of the development process by maintaining essential kitchen operations and coordinating all functions within the kitchen facility. You will help build assigned development projects and the staging of pre-development preparation to help grow new product innovation. You will operate in teams to create new innovation, identify culinary trends, menu ideation. Additionally, technical product showings and high-level social events will also be coordinated and performed by this position.

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain Kitchen operations (sanitation, maintenance, & organization)
  • Execute technical cuttings
  • Work with internal and external groups to arrange social activities
  • Work with procurement to source new purveyors or specific ingredients to achieve our needs
  • Maintain inventory of ingredients used in the development process
  • Work pro-actively to stage ingredients for upcoming development sessions.
  • Input and maintain formulas on inter-department shared drive Manage the SAP system for account processing

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in related discipline
  • 2 years basic foodservice experience
  • Previous experience with ordering, purchasing, sanitation and inventory
  • Sound culinary skills
  • Sanitation training and certification
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
