The Associate, Wholesale supports the Assistant Manager with wholesale operations for assigned accounts. Operation functions include purchase order management and internal and retailer systems maintenance. Position to work closely with integrated retail teams and cross functional partners including Global Product Creation, Sourcing, IT and Logistics.

Responsibilities:

  • You will maintain purchase order accuracy, maintenance and track purchase order delivery. Work with manager to provide updates to business partners to maintain accurate information. Validate information sent on Sales orders by using a systems generated report.
  • You will be responsible for managing range plan updates, product attribute sheet, item setup, internet spec sheet and PO creation process in company database system quarterly. Set up assortments with outside company to generate UPCs.
  • You will build and maintain retailer assortment sheets which will include assisting with costing, style attributing and reaching out to cross functional sourcing partners to retrieve pending information and data inputs
  • You will review all EDI transmissions from retailers and validate orders against assortment sheet. Maintain orders for stores and .com and work closely with teams to revise POs.
  • You will provide weekly status updates on PO process concerning initial, revisions and any challenges that may arise both on the retailer side and wholesale side. Participate in internal meetings to discuss delivery status and escalate & resolve issues.
  • You will maintain accurate and updated records of assortment recaps and on order.
  • Extensive cross-functional communication and partnership - field phone calls regarding PO and assortment sheet accuracy, cost discrepancies, deliveries etc.
  • You will work with IT team to create system efficiencies to help solve for system challenges. Lead contact for any systems development regarding PO process.
  • You will manage and track all production samples and coordinate photo samples for retail partners. Manage retailer's samples and works with sourcing team to ensure on time delivery. Manage in house samples and archiving process each season.
  • You will work collaboratively with all internal support departments to ensure merchandise efforts are well communicated
  • You will provide overall administrative support including samples, data entry, copying, printing and general filing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing operations, planning or sourcing
  • Full understanding of the components involved in creating a successful merchandise production calendar
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and comfortable adapting to purchasing systems
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to coordinate others and lead a cross-functional team

Required Education

  • High school degree or equivalent

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
