The position will work closely with Assistant Manager, Valuation. He/ She is responsible for matters related to actuarial valuation.  This individual is a key player in the valuation team to support BAU tasks and provides technical support to enhance and streamline valuation model and processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the transition and implementation of new accounting regime and solvency framework (e.g. IFRS 17 and HK RBC)

• Assist in the management of actuarial software licensing

• Prepare valuation and financial reporting requirements in HK and US bases

• Participate in valuation processes to ensure compliance with local regulatory regimes, company internal guidelines and SOX requirement

• Construct and enhance the actuarial model for daily operations and ad-hoc projects

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science or related disciplines

• Excellent analytical skills with strong PC knowledge of MS Excel and Access

• Experienced in using Actuarial software (use of Prophet is a plus) and programming

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with good command of both English and Chinese

• Able to work under pressure and think independently
