Job Description

Help Dell Technologies customize solutions for customers with a role on our Solutions Principal team. On this team, you’ll guide the analysis, design and development of solutions for customers, provide technical support and direction to sales teams in the field and assure the compatibility of these solutions with customer systems and strategic business plans.

What you’ll achieve

  • Supports basic accounts, manages relationships with customer technical staff and Help Desk functions
  • Follows a defined approach/method to selling enterprise/client products and services
  • May verify operability of product and service configuration within the customer’s environment
  • Able to articulate basic characteristics of the customer’s current environment Understands and analyzes industry and market knowledge
  • Has an intermediate understanding of third-party and/or Channel’s role to create and position Dell solution

May seek counsel from other sales engineers, leaders, or cross- functional technical groups to ensure consistent approach/application Qualifies basic sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding May present the design and value of proposed solution and business case to customers, prospects and management

Essential Requirements

  • Developing negotiation skills to achieve desired results/meet customer needs
  • Strong understanding of where enterprise/client products and services fit into customer’s IT structure
  • Has developing knowledge of our business model and can articulate the impact and advantages to the customer Intermediate industry knowledge


Education Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and no related experience in relationship selling· · Additional criteria: Typically requires 0+ years of field sales experience and is considered a trainee
