Job Description

We are looking for a fluent French and English speaker who would love to harness in-depth social media expertise to build meaningful relationships with French audiences for one of the most loved brands!

Core Responsibilities

• Working with key partners across the local French marketing team, the Western Europe regional team, the EMEA creative agency and the Consumer Services colleagues, to grow and engage local audiences

• Creating content calendar, localising and writing original social media copy and publishing content for French audiences

• Ensuring all engagement with French audiences across our LEGO channels is conducted in a timely fashion with the appropriate tone of voice, through collaboration with our Consumer Services team

• Collaborating with our brand teams and internal agency to identify and feed into campaign and real-time content opportunities, enhancing the social media experience

• Managing external agencies where required, to produce content and manage editorial plans

• Producing social media content and channel reporting and providing agile, useful insights

• Identifying and engaging in real-time with influencers and celebrities that are talking about the LEGO brand across social media channels

• Planning and briefing media agency on paid amplification of organic content

• Following the local approach by understanding commercial and audience priorities, using data and insights to challenge the status quo and consistently influencing content, channel and local audience development through insights and ideas

Do you have what it takes?

• Extensive experience engaging with consumers through social media and online communities

• Experience working across Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Snapchat

• Hands-on experience setting up and monitoring social media listening topics

• Social media reporting capabilities; connecting social media critical metrics with business objectives

• Experience briefing paid social media campaigns (particularly across Facebook and Instagram)

• Experience briefing social media content production and managing external agencies

• Strong communication and partner management skills

• Ability and willingness to travel within the region

• Native or bilingual proficiency in French plus Advanced English language is needed for this role
