Associate Project Engineer - Controls - Ft. Smith, AR, Columbia, SC, Henderson, NC, Mattoon, IL, Kansas City, KS

Our Associate Project Engineers are responsible for fundamental executional activities of projects. Acting as a Project Engineer, you will be an active member of the Central Engineering community, the local engineering team, and project team(s) currently assigned. What is more, as a Project Engineer you will be responsible for deploying his/her engineering know-how to successfully support the execution of projects to the business that deliver a sustained technical competitive advantage.

What are we looking for?

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a comparable technical position desirable - food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industry considered a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • Basic understanding of engineering principals - knowledge of engineering disciplines: Process, Packaging, Electrical, Construction or Computer Services are considered a plus
  • Good communication, listening and influencing skills

  • Managing multiple construction activities while delivering safe, secure and environmentally responsible results
  • Providing engineering know-how to support the execution of projects

  • Ensure fundamental executional activities are aligned with overall project priorities
