The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for ensuring the success of residential self-install product operations including managing kitting operations, working with product teams to enable residential products for self-install and provide continuous support and subject matter expertise for performance improvements resulting in self-install KPI benefits. S/he will be responsible for roadmap development, requirements, performance monitoring for kitting operations, lifecycle performance improvements and self-install product enablement. Partnering successfully with cross functional teams will be essential to launch improvements and enable self-install. Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing operations, overseeing launches, customer experience, financial and operating metrics, enhancement priorities and product roadmaps. Recognized as subject matter expert in self-install operations and enablement. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative and will be leaned on to drive residential operations and performance success.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Ownership of self-install product kitting operations including kitting requirements, building recommendations for kit and instruction improvements, managing any kitting changes or needs based on product enablement and business strategy.
Analyzes customer, business and product performance metrics and interprets underlying drivers to translate into data-based recommendations to build and deliver on roadmaps
Ownership of self-install product enablement; partnering with product teams to ensure that their products are self-install ready at the time of launch.
Delivers expected results throughout product enablement and performance improvement projects’ launch and post-launch environments.
Successfully partners with cross-functional teams to enable products for self-install as well as deliver on key performance enhancements
In partnership with other PDM associates, assists in generation of business insights which guide product enablement, operations improvements and customer experience solutions.
Developing as a leader with respect to project development, team interactions, business insights and product management.
Identifies customer expectations and unmet needs with product and services and works with team leaders to create solutions that address gaps and enhances the customer experience.
Assists with the development and documentation of product plans and roadmaps which aligns with and/or enhances customer needs, market and competitive trends and corporate strategy.
Translates product plan and roadmap into clear and defined business requirements to drive functional specifications and technical requirements.
Assists with the development business cases which define the product value proposition to support product and services roadmap investments, in collaboration with business partners.
Facilitates communication amongst project leaders, peers and relevant department and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain alignment and awareness of current product state and vision.
Creates, sustains and optimizes operational practices and procedures to drive efficiencies.
Qualifications:
Minimum
2 years of experience in related field (i.e. Product Management, Project Management, Marketing, Process Improvement, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills that allow one to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
Demonstrates strong business, market and analytical acumen
Preferred
BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (e.g. Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
Experience in project management or operations management
Experience in telecommunications or high-tech environment
