About the Job:
This key hire will work in the International Division’s Supply team and report into the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Management. It is an exciting time to join the international team as we continue to accelerate growth across key geographies and bring Taco Bell to more consumers around the world.
The role is to support the International supply team in building an agile, global supply chain that enables profitable growth while ensuring food safety. This position is ideal for individuals with high accountability, strong problem solving skills, great communication style, a partnership mentality, and comfort turning facts into recommendations.
The Day-to-Day:
- Lead global equipment and chemical category strategy in coordination with the suppliers and international business units.
- Elevate equipment and chemical spend business intelligence as per strategic framework to support future growth of Taco Bell Global across all international markets
- Develop business intelligence approach through advanced analytics for ex.works and landed ‘TCIU’ (Total cost in use)
- Design reporting platform on pricing, spend, warranty including sourcing fees
- Lead optimized business review process with all key suppliers. Manage ongoing relationships through established KPI’s and regular business reviews. Solicit Input and feedback through business units teams – Service, distributor networks, spare parts support, cost
- Project management and execution of agreed strategies in conjunction with the business units teams.
- Ensure equipment supply continuity by working with suppliers, managing risks, building contingency plans, creating capacity, forecasting growth to enable new stores open
- Lead global equipment price negotiation with the YUM team, mitigate price increase and lead CAPEX equipment reduction projects
- Support Ops/ENG on SKUs rationalization and innovation drive
- Build equipment and chemical capacity to support the future growth – suppliers on-boarding including process
- Lead growth enabler projects to ensure international growth
- Streamline supply chain processes by developing tools, guidelines and playbooks
- Manage ingredients category for military stores by ensuring US supply continuity and supporting LTO’s
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers and cross-functional teams to ensure requests and issues are resolved in a timely manner
Is This You?

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or related field
- 10 + years experience in SCM or Purchasing function
- 10 + years experience in the industry
- Direct involvement in strategy development and contract negotiations
- Experience with retail, service and/or multi-outlet industry highly regarded
- Experience in all facets of modern Supply Chain Management
- Excellent interpersonal skills to create productive working relationships, especially with Franchisees
- Excellent written/oral communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills with ability to thrive in ambiguous environment
- Strong time and project management skills
- Proven ability to design & implement process improvements
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Self-sufficient, sense of urgency and highly organized
- High work ethic
- Travel might be required (10% - 20% of time)
