Job Description

The Colgate Palmolive Company is currently looking for an Associate Manager, Community Oral Health to join the team!

 

The Responsibilities for the Role Include:

  • Implement on the ground strategy for the Bright Smiles Bright Futures (BSBF) oral health community and added-value business initiatives in the United States.
  • Identify, develop and maintain BSBF Mobile Dental Van Unit partnerships within public/private community organizations in primary and secondary markets, including the development and execution of Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs) and/or other agreements.
  • Coordinate execution and implementation of BSBF programmatic activities on the ground. Work closely with BSBF Team (coordinators and third party staff) and internal Colgate service partners, programs and agencies to deliver program activities.
  • Report, analyze and supervise BSBF activity and results to maintain maximum efficiency of BSBF teams' efficiency and market coverage, including BSBF project progress, standard methodologies, program successes, setbacks and failures.
  • Handle and analyze performance metrics and goals across BSBF Teams, strategizing new tactics, opportunities and best practices to meet objectives.
  • Support and assist with volunteer management; recruitment, communication and incentive programs.
  • Support implementation of strategic business programs with internal partners, i.e., US Oral Care, Multicultural marketing, Customer Development and Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals, etc.
  • Recruit and conduct interviews and identify new BSBF Team Members, coordinating with third party staffing agencies to train, orient and onboard.
  • Run and supervise existing and potential BSBF clients/ customers regarding BSBF requests, donations, and program activities.
  • Support BSBF online and digital activities—post content, promote BSBF activities, handle inquiries and coordinate with other Social Media Managers and Corporate Communications to drive awareness and amplify BSBF social media activities.
  • Manage and maintain existing partnerships, including attendance of regular meetings, review of external communication, performance reporting, conference participation and other activities.
  • Use Project Management skills for key projects and initiatives, including definition of project scope and objectives, involving stakeholders, working with cross functional teams, and the development of project plans, budgets and timelines.
  • Conduct and implement training and upskilling for BSBF Team Members, including new business practices, consultations, technology updates and others. Coordinate and help facilitate annual Goal Alignment, Mid Year and other Team Meetings.
  • Analyze, consult and solve problems from the field to meet organizational and program standards.
  • Develop new programs to support the strategic direction and intentional pivot of the Bright Smiles, Bright Futures program.
  • Cross collaboration with colleagues and business partners to develop relevant program content and key initiatives that support Bright Smiles, Bright Futures efforts.

 

The Qualifications/Experience we are looking for:

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • Proven experience in education and/or public health required
  • 6 Years of Consumer Goods Industry Experience in sales or targeted marketing; or 6 years of community affairs experience with public relations firm or corporation
  • Shown success in leading/coordinating multiple events and building/maintaining key relationships
  • Proficiency in Google Suite as well as Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Consumer/Customer Focused with shown business perspective to make fact-based decisions with consideration to the impact on Colgate's image with the community and profession
