Job Description

The Story so far…

ASOS burst on to the scene in 2000 and has not looked back. We are the UK’s number one fashion and beauty destination, and as a recent survey showed, we are the second most visited fashion website on the planet. We ship to over 190 countries and have specific sites targeting the USA, French and German, Italian and Australian markets. With much excitement, we opened our office in Sydney in January 2012 and New York in September 2012, France and Germany following soon after. This is all part of our strategy, which we call ASOS Future.

The ASOS Way

We do things a certain way - The ASOS Way.  It is our DNA and runs through everything we do here - it defines who we are, what we do and how we do it. Some things change, these don’t.

We are Passionate; we are proud to be a part of ASOS, we always give our best and we celebrate our successes.

We are Customer Obsessed; we know our customers love fashion and we understand what they want, we know our stuff inside and out, we put our customers at the heart of everything we do.

We restlessly innovate; we do not stand still, we give it a go and we are brave.

We are Collaborative and Respectful; We work together to get the job done, we grow ideas from within, we make things happen and we do the right thing.

People are the future of our business and we have big ideas. We know we need people who can turn these ideas into reality – it’s our people that make the difference.

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate IAM Analyst with Active Directory Services and Azure knowledge to join the ASOS Identity and Access Management Team in Cyber Security. This technical role will require a level of experience in managing and securing corporate identities on an Enterprise scale.

Reporting to the Identity & Access Manager, this role is all about making sure every ASOSer and Third-Party users have the appropriate levels of access; adopting industry best practices to protect Identities and troubleshooting Active Directory issues. It sounds simple, and it would be if we were not such a fast moving, rapidly expanding global organization!

You will need to operate at several different levels: from being a team player in the IAM team, working alongside technical colleagues in Infrastructure, Architecture and Engineering teams whilst improving the team’s operational efficiency and monitoring how data and systems are being accessed.

The Person:

We want someone technical and an analytical problem solver who enjoys working as part of a team in a rapidly evolving environment.

As an Associate Identity & Access Management Analyst, you will be part of the team that’s driving Identity as the new security perimeter at ASOS. The Identity & Access Management team is constantly improving the way ASOSers get access to data and systems. We’re big users of Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365 and love things like identity lifecycle, role-based access, Multifactor authentication, and privileged access management. We’re quite passionate about protecting our colleagues and the ASOS brand, so we would love someone who can thrive and develop on an ever growing and changing landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage key operational processes to secure Identities and the ASOS Identity Repositories, primarily Microsoft Active Directory Services - Joiners, Movers, Leavers, Stale Accounts, Multifactor Authentication, User Access Reviews, Re certification and much more,
  • Provide a governance role across the organisation to protect Identities and secure access to ASOS systems and Active Directory Services as per industry best practices and standards,
  • Design and implement Power BI dashboards to monitor and report on User Life Cycle Management and other key Identity KPI.s,
  • Action IAM related tickets that are raised on the Service Now portal, primarily relating to Joiners, Movers, Leavers, Security Incidents, Access Requests in Microsoft Active Directory Services and Azure,
  • Work as a key point of contact for IAM related issues through escalation as part of security incidents.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

  • The successful candidate will demonstrate competency in computing as well as in Cyber Security either by having either a relevant work experience, completed a degree or obtained industry relevant certification,
  • Experience in working with Active Directory, Microsoft suite of apps such as Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Automate,
  • Understanding of Azure and Google Cloud Platform,
  • Experience in scripting, PowerShell, or other languages, is an advantage
  • Infrastructure knowledge around network, storage, and security also an advantage,
  • Analytical, problem solving and detail-oriented,
  • Love to learn by doing,
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
