Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• This position is responsible for the Modelling & detailing of fabricated (Sheetmetal) structures such as Worktools/End attachments
• Capable of making decision in Different Welding types/size and welding process
• Capable of ensuring the manufacturability of Fabricated/Welded structures/Weldments
• Capable of creating engineering drawings without reference
• Capable of making decisions in providing appropriate dimensioning, Tolerances, GD&T required for manufacturing
• Capable of managing multiple projects & developing project plans
• Capable of managing Quality & Velocity of the deliverables (Models/Drawings)
• Capable of participating in problem-solving analysis & technical discussions
• Capable of fluently communicating with the international clients for receiving inputs and sharing the deliverables
• Capable of Collaborating with multiple suppliers (Engineering & Manufacturing)
• Capable of taking accountability on End – End activities
• Capable of generating pull from international clients
• Demonstrated sense of urgency when it comes to serving internal and external customers

Required Qualifications:  

• 3-5 years of experience in Modelling & Detailing of fabricated (Sheetmetal) structures such as Worktools/End attachments
• BE/Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering major
• Proficiency in Creo Modelling & Detailing
• Proficiency in Teamcenter Engineering and GEC workflow process
• Ability to apply Caterpillar standard and/or industry design standards and specifications
• Critical Competencies - Initiative, Accountability, Communication Skills (Written/Oral)
• Awareness on NPI/CPI Process
