The Payload and Ground Systems organization within the Northrop Grumman Space Systems pushes the boundaries of innovation, redefines engineering capabilities, and drives advances in various sciences. Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

This position may be filled at either an Associate Engineer Electrical or Engineer Electrical level

Salary Range for Associate Engineer Electrical: $61,900.00-$92,900.00

Salary Range for Engineer Electrical: $74,900.00-$112,300.00

Basic Qualifications

For an Associate Engineer Electrical: BS in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) with 0 years experience

For an Engineer Electrical: BS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) with 2 years experience or 0 years with a Masters

US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance

Ability to travel a minimum of one week per calendar quarter

A basic understanding of electromagnetic wave propagation and coupling

A basic understanding of architectural drawings

Familiarity with the AGILE methodology

Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering or STEM degree with minor in electrical/electronics engineering

Experience with Hardness Maintenance / Hardness Surveillance schedules and procedures

Familiarity with MIL STD 188-125

Experience with micro controllers

Ability and willingness to travel internationally on occasion

Salary Range: $61,900 USD - $92,900 USD

Salary Range 2: $74,900 USD - $112,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
