Role Overview

  • Implements a broad array of business analytics for key stakeholders within US Immunology Team - areas of responsibility include:
    • Customer Segmentation/Analytics
    • Subnational, Claims, and APLD Data Analyses
    • Ad-hoc Analytics (inc. major brand meeting support)
    • Promotion Planning & Measurement (inc. launch planning)
    • Brand Scorecard Design & Delivery
    • Enablement of Multi-channel Analytics
  • Supports the application of fact based decision making for key market questions for BMS brands within the Immunology portfolio, including supporting new launches
  • Implements best practice adoption within stated areas of responsibility, applying appropriate levels of technical capability and subject matter expertise to address business questions
  • Executes market/business analysis to improve value to our patients through deepened market understanding and practical application
  • Proactively manages flow of planned and ad hoc analytics requests, ensuring  consistent quality and timeliness in delivery to business stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

  • Partners with in-market brand leadership and strategy/operations leads to deliver wide array of analytics to support strategic and tactical commercial decisions
  • Delivers analytic projects including, but not limited to, customer segmentation, subnational & claims data analyses, business scorecards, and ad-hoc analytics supporting the Immunology portfolio
  • Supports BI&A partners in forecasting and multi-channel analytics as needed
  • Leverages standards for the provision of analytics to support planning and decision making processes, and utilizes analytics escalation processes
  • Provides input/feedback to improve and enhance capabilities related to analytics deliverables including support of innovative data sources
  • Partners with the Director – US Commercial CV / IMM Analytics to identify and evaluate current and future analytics needs for responsible markets and brand(s) in support of decision making
  • Supports culture of analytics and fact-based decision making through the utilization of standard methodologies and approaches
  • Develops and maintains a deep understanding of US Immunology business priorities, meeting agreed upon analytics deliverables/timing
  • Effectively collaborates with a broad set of cross functional counterparts  (including Strategy & Operations Leads, Brand Leadership, MR, Sales Operations, Medical and Finance) to achieve organizational objectives
  • Partners effectively with Market Research, enabling a transparent, inclusive and thought diverse environment of knowledge sharing
  • Develops seamless, collaborative, cross-functional approaches to problem solving and holistic cross-customer analysis
  • Collaborates with other members of BI&A to ensure the consistent application of team vision across capabilities and services
  • Manages workload prioritization of 1 direct report, on-site/offshore consultant support and leverages other teams within BI&A and across BMS to successfully achieve business objectives
  • Understands, demonstrates, and drives adherence to all BMS operating policies

Qualifications

•      BA/BS required

•      5+ Years Pharmaceutical Experience
