  • Lead the development of an aligned strategy and evidence generation plan for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) to demonstrate the value of Zeposia for IBD indications. 
  • Integrate and align the HEOR strategy and initiatives through establishing and maintaining cross-functional collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders including, but not limited to, VAP, Medical Affairs, Commercial, VAP Prep Team, Medical Capabilities, CORDS, Publication.
  • Effectively lead scientifically rigorous HEOR studies and manage projects from concept through full execution, including reporting the evidence at scientific congresses, in peer reviewed publications, and proactive/reactive BMS communication tools.
  • Demonstrate the ability to make decisions on selecting external organizations and researchers with appropriate expertise for research collaborations.
  • Serve as an internal HEOR expert helping develop product value propositions by incorporating HEOR evidence to support market access and brand objectives.
  • Function as an internal HEOR expert providing critical input into the development of effective communication tools and programs for optimal market access.

Minimum Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PharmD, or MD) in related field and experience conducting HEOR research (Related fields include: Health Services Research, Health Economics / Economics, Psychometrics, Health Policy, Outcomes Research, and Pharmacy Administration) preferred.
  • At least 3 years experience in outcomes research, pharmaceutical industry-related health economics and outcomes research.
  • Experience in executing studies with highly technical data and communication of results internally and externally is required.
  • Knowledge in immunology preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of US payer environment and payer/policy maker evidence needs for access and reimbursement.
  • Design of multiple Phase IIIB/IV studies with HEOR endpoints to support US region.
  • ~20% of time
