This position will be responsible for driving and delivering the analytics and visualization for all key capabilities for the risk monitoring functions, in order to enable and enhance the ability to provide actionable insights. The role will serve as strategic thought partner to key stakeholders and translate busines priorities in to visualized dashboards and other tools to leverage a data rich environment to deliver best in class insights. The risk monitoring functions supported include Compliance & Ethics Monitoring, Global Internal Audit & Risk, Legal, Business Controls Functions, and other cross functional teams. This role will ensure continuous delivery of analytics that drive informed decision making in a consistent and effective manner. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about generating meaningful insights and the opportunity to build and drive capabilities in a data-rich industry.

Key Responsibilities & Major duties:

  • Partners with key stakeholders to understand business priorities and the related reporting / visualization analytics needs of the organization.

  • Design and create visualizations and dashboards for high-impact analytics to make data actionable and facilitate decision making for stakeholders.

  • Apply design and data analysis techniques to mine rich datasets and organize the presentation of data in visually innovative ways in order to make it easier to understand and diagnose trends and provide actionable insights to end users.

  • Executes the analytics vision and strategy in alignment with leadership priorities and business stakeholder requirements

  • Proactively network and liaise with cross functional business stakeholders to identify, contextualize and deliver high value analytics and insights, while ensuring objectivity and consistency across the functions

  • Direct delivery of various analytics projects, by serving as the subject matter expert and providing technical guidance, ensuring they meet key stakeholder needs

  • Leverage advanced analytical techniques to evolve the efficiency of risk analytics  to balance the considerations of business environment and the priorities of risk management and deliver capabilities for the future

  • Manages workload prioritization of on-site/offshore consultant support and leverages other teams within BI&A and across BMS to successfully achieve business objectives

  • Work closely with matrix teams such as IT to prioritize data gathering, platforming and structuring to ensure a strong foundations for building analytical capabilities.

  • Share best practices across teams to increase the overall understanding and utilization of dashboards and other capabilities.

  • Be a thought leader and influencer in the space of visualization in analytics including staying up to date on emerging tools and software and innovation, in its applications across industries.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS required (quantitative area of study preferred). MBA/other graduate degree preferred

  • 7+ years experience in designing/implementing analytical technology solutions

  • 5+ years of experience developing and using advanced analytics and cutting-edge reporting techniques, including the usage of software like Tableau, Spotfire, Qlikview etc. Strong reporting and data visualization experience is a must.

  • Excellence in translating stakeholder needs into analytics that will drive an insight or action to add value to a business process

  • Strong communication skills; The ability to communicate effectively with matrix partners as well as with business partners.

  • Experience delivering in a matrix organization, including articulating value propositions, balancing trade-offs and managing demand

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced global environment with multiple competing priorities while ensuring adherence to deadlines

Technical skills:

  • In-depth knowledge around best practices in data visualization design and the presentation of information in order to enable business users to arrive at insights quickly and efficiently

  • Ability to effectively engage with business stakeholders and translate business requirements into high impact reports and visualizations

  • Hands-on experience integrating, querying and preparing datasets for reporting and analytics

  • Experience with full technology stack of analytics solutions, including understanding the business, familiarity with data collection & transformation techniques, building analytics that range from descriptive, diagnostic to predictive solutions.

  • Understanding advanced analytics, including predictive analytic modeling approaches related to structured and unstructured data
