Summary:
The Associate Director, Oncology Commercialization, Bempeg will be an important member of the Worldwide Oncology Commercialization Team and reports to the Director, WW Oncology Commercialization, Bempeg. This marketing role will be involved in driving a successful worldwide launch and commercialization of bempegaldesleukin in metastatic melanoma. This role will also play an integral role in development of the launch plan for Bempeg in subsequent potential indications including, renal cell carcinoma and bladder cancer. This individual will play a key role in leading commercial efforts in partnership with Nektar Therapeutics and will collaborate with key Worldwide, markets and cross-functional matrix teams.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to Worldwide commercialization strategy and execution for Bempeg in 1L metastatic melanoma, in preparation for launch, including support for launch readiness in partnership with priority markets
Develop Worldwide commercialization strategy for Bempeg in subsequent potential indications including, renal cell carcinoma and bladder cancer
Lead WW brand planning for Bempeg including collaboration across Oncology asset teams, roll-out to the markets and functional planning
Partner with external agency on creation of WW message guidance, campaign evolution and materials to support launch
Execution of marketing led advisory boards
Lead market research projects necessary to effectively analyze customer insights, determine asset positioning within competitive set and drive decision making
Collaborate closely with commercial partners at Nektar, the Oncology Worldwide brand team and matrix team members
Provide commercial input into key questions facing development of Bempeg in exploratory tumor types
Qualifications:
BS/BA or equivalent required; an MBA or other advanced degree preferred
Minimum 5 years commercialization experience, with at least 2 years in marketing
Individual should have a proven track record demonstrating breadth and depth across marketing competencies, BMS behaviors, exemplary achievement of performance objectives, and strong leadership skills
Meaningful experience with mobilizing matrix/cross-functional team members and country partners
Demonstrated customer insight generation and analytical skills, with regards to market research, competitive data collection analysis and crystallization of key business insights
Proven ability to work across an alliance including strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively and efficiently drive performance
Personal integrity; passionate, energetic and focused on the company and mission
Listens/considers alternative ideas, viewpoints and encourages debate on others' ideas.
