Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Manage/lead Sourcing Excellence supporting Direct Materials & External Manufacturing

  • Manage team of Full Time BMS Employees and flexible contracted sourcing resources
  • Develop criteria for evaluating performance and excellence in delivery of services
  • Develop and define performance targets for flexible sourcing capability and drive accountability against targets
  • Participate in book of work review meetings with BP&S teams to gather potential projects, prioritize them and align on resource allocation process
  • Lead short and long-term initiatives that deliver positive impacts on the organization, including training and development programs, and Sourcing Projects

Oversee end-to-end implementation of Sourcing(RFP) and Contracting projects

  • Oversee project management for all projects in BOW. Manage ideation of new ideas and savings tracking process
  • Design launch kick-off meetings for team members to use when launching an event
  • Provide guidance to team members on the preparation and solicitation of competitive bids, quotations and proposals; evaluating competitive offerings; assess supplier product and pricing information; prepare and issue contracts for legal review and approval
  • Develop savings calculation methods and review with finance for alignment

Oversee the development of data analytics and formulation of insights that inform business demand across categories / sub-functions

  • Oversee integration of data into one place, conduct data profiling and quality review
  • Provide prioritized analytics on supplier spend, category spend, and pricing for high risk items (to ensure compliance to contracts)
  • Manage analytics team to support in the identification and implementation of opportunities

​Conduct Supplier Performance and Relationship Management for select categories and suppliers

  • For SRM suppliers, support the process of developing, evaluating and managing effective relationships with strategic suppliers, strategic alliance partners, supply chain, cross-functional and multi-functional teams
  • Support implementing and managing the small business and disadvantaged suppliers search and development programs

Minimum Requirements:

  • B.S./B.A. (Business, Science or Engineering is desirable)
  • Relevant industry certification is preferred, e.g. Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years’ work experience with at least 1 – 5 years procurement or relevant experience. (Preferred category experience includes: Manufacturing, Supply Chain)
  • Expertise in materials management, direct materials sourcing, management of external contract manufacturing organizations
  • Expertise in the procurement processes, technology and systems (such as Ariba, & SAP), contract and supplier analysis and management, financial analysis, market analysis, supplier diversity, strategic planning and integrated supply chain
  • People management and employee development responsibilities, including talent identification and acquisition
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with and manage internal stakeholders at all levels within a highly matrixed organization working across cross-functional, cross-organizational teams
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, category management; expertise in process redesign and continuous improvement, project and performance management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge and experience with Sourcing Execution management applied to large and global organizations such as BMS
  • Strong leadership, communications (written/verbal) project management, analytical, problem solving, organization, presentation and facilitation skills
