Associate Director, Above Brand Enterprise Programs, US VAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads and coordinates US VAP LT key strategic enterprise culture and employee engagement initiatives (i.e., Diversity & Inclusion, Pulse Survey recommendations) for all field and home-office sites (PPK, SME, BKH, TPA, SEA).  Includes management of employee survey and feedback generation. Also responsible for involving directors, people managers, appropriate matrix teams and agency partners in execution of initiatives
  • Responsible and accountable for developing, planning, executing, and refreshing US VAP communication planning for an audience of over 470 employees.  This includes town halls, Change Champions, “one over” meetings, lunch and learns, executive 1:1’s, POA and ad hoc meetings.
  • Leads and drives decision-making to support two US VAP POA meetings for over 470+ employees. Responsible for leading external and internal business partners including Agency of Record, production companies, American Express, learning and development, finance, brand teams to develop and deliver cost effective POA agenda and timelines. This includes accountability for developing project plans, project related metrics, and project dashboards and serves as point to reconcile any variances to plans.
  • Is accountable for US VAP Share Point site design and management. Leads and directs IT related resourcing and execution to support site maintenance and upgrades. Partners with VAP Strat Ops lead to support and communicate Global and Commercial updates related to VAP-wide systems integration and global IT upgrades.
  • Track US VAP SVP calendars and meetings to ensure alignment with other department-wide calendars and the department’s communication needs
  • Responsible for directly working with USVAP SVP to assemble and finalize slide decks and speaker notes for VAP town halls, POA meetings, Board of Director meetings etc.
  • Leads ad hoc SVP and US VAP LT programs and initiatives i.e., Return To Office, “Fall Fridays”
  • Leads all Recognition and national awards workstreams on behalf of 470+ employee US VAP team.
  • Manages and tracks related project budgets, ensuring adherence to BMS policies and procedures
  • Complies with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of BMS

Key Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required with a minimum of 8+ years in pharmaceuticals and/or related healthcare experience. US market access and commercial related experience preferred
  • Candidates should have demonstrated performance in the following skills: team leadership, ability to drive decision-making and accountability, project management, SharePoint, resourcefulness, mobilizing matrix team members without authority and embracing teamwork in cross functional environment
  • Understanding of US Market access environment and field experience a plus
  • Strong executive presence, strategic leadership skills and the ability to present complex information to multiple stakeholders are required
  • Candidate must act with a sense of accountability and urgency, while collaborating closely with others across a highly complex matrix.
  • Proven ability to innovate and evolve skill sets across teams
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction
  • Travel to external partners and meetings may be required
