Job Description
The Associate Brand Manager is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing plans and programs to achieve the short and long-term business objectives for the Colgate Professional Products.
Position Description:
- Participate in the development and execution of brand marketing plans, including assessment of critical issues and the recommendation of strategic and tactical solutions
- Monitor and analyze sales volumes, market share trends, promotional initiatives, and competitive activity. Effectively synthesize data for brand and competitor to identify key drivers
- Manage day to day operations for the brand including sales forecasting, budgeting and tracking, invoicing, promotional and go-to-market planning
- Ensure consistent and effective brand communication
- Develop key briefing documents, including creative media and promotional briefs
- Lead cross-functional project teams
- Plan and analyze consumer and trade promotions
- Identify cost savings opportunities
Background required:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 3+ years Brand Marketing experience, CPG experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills
- High level of initiative and assertiveness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work on multiple projects at a time while delivering strong results
- Pragmatic and agile mindset, able & willing to work with what’s available (rather than wait for perfect) and constantly adapt to changing realities
