Job Description

Working on the exciting and growing Tasty Bite brand, you will be leading the execution of our Brand & Innovation plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This includes supporting Innovation Development from idea generation to analyzing and quantifying opportunities in collaboration with the Senior Brand Manager; leading execution of new launches including packaging development with creative agencies; collaborating with sales partners on sell in, and leading execution of new product launches with the cross-functional team. You will also monitor business results and provide recommendations for portfolio optimization and growth.  You will have a pulse on new food trends and how they can influence the ready-to-eat Indian food category. 

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in related major such as Business, Economics, Marketing).  MBA strongly preferred.

    1-3 years experience post-MBA, preferably in consumer packaged goods marketing

  • Analyzes: Ability to look at data and generate strategic brand insights and action plans
  • Budgets:  Tracks brand budget on monthly basis
  • Organizes: Possesses strong Project Management skills
  • Adapts: Ability to tackle competing priorities resourcefully in lean, fast-paced environment
  • Collaborates: Ability to influence and lead cross-functionally
  • Communicates: Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Drives:  Self-starter who possesses sense of urgency on key projects
  • Innovates: Initiates and helps develop creative, out-of-the-box ideas

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Primary responsibility is execution of new product innovation for the Tasty Bite brand
  •  Leadership of cross-functional project teams to ensure engagement leading to timely and successful delivery of projects.
    • Partner with R&D, Finance, Demand Planning, Sales and Marketing partners to bring new product innovation to market.
    • Own and manage the brand budget, collaborating with Finance to ensure marketing-related expenses are accounted for accurately.
    • Participate in the execution of other market research initiatives, including both qualitative and quantitative research projects.
    • Lead the execution of new package graphics initiatives, coordinating a cross functional team that includes Marketing, Manufacturing, R&D and external package design and FDA compliance partners.
    • Assist with the development and execution of key marketing initiatives, including advertising/PR, promotions, new product line extensions, etc.
    • Serve as U.S. project manager lead for Global Tasty Bite business.
    • Compile and present bi-annual consumer marketplace trends analysis to the broader team used to inform brand innovation path.
