Advanced Systems Group (ASG) is a newly formed stand-alone division of Brunswick, the world’s largest recreational marine business.  We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Main Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact & accountability for assigned ASGC projects
• Utilize strong decision making and leadership abilities to assist in the management of multiple projects to meet goals for time to market, product cost, and quality
• Update scheduling and perform regular schedule review on assigned projects
• Conduct regular project status reviews
• Assist in preparation & presentation of gate reviews to ASG team
• Utilize standard methodologies, tools, and frameworks
• Assist in the continuous improvement of program/project mgmt. framework & development of appropriate tools for execution of this framework
• Consolidate, report, and implement lessons learned
• Keen awareness of customer requirements, collaborate with engineering to help facilitate process of converting product needs into design specifications
• Identify and resolve barriers and risks to project execution
• Work with project team individual contributors and management to identify and mitigate potential roadblocks to project success
• Work with appropriate functions to obtain component quotes, cost estimates and mfg costs to support ongoing analysis and evaluation of product costs vs targets
• Own, prioritize, and drive timeline & project hand-offs
• Raise awareness of program/project concerns & create solutions
• Travel to customer, supplier, & partner locations may be required
• The above job duties & responsibilities may be supplemented occasionally with other job duties and/or assignment related to career or personal development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in STEM discipline 
• Project experience towards PMP certification preferred
• 1-3+ years’ experience in a program/project management environment
• Ability to assist cross-functional team to successfully launch ASGC systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Project
• High attention to detail
• Collaborative mindset
• Positively represent business unit in front of internal & external stakeholders
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Experience in Marine or Recreational Vehicle industry is a plus
• Passion for boating or RV’ing a plus
