What would we like from our Assistant Lounge Manager?

1. You thrive on getting the best out of people, you draw satisfaction from managing, training and supporting a team
2. You provide a professional catering service, ensuring that company standards are maintained and that Client expectations are met.
3. Have experience in a Assistant Manager role ideally in contract catering or hospitality.
4. Good understanding of report writing and financial management.
5. Possess excellent supervisory and communication skills
6. Good delegation and influencing skills
7. Able to demonstrate your analytical approach to problem solving
8. Have the ability to display a real passion for food and customer service

Assistant Lounge Manager requirements:

1. Assist the General Manager in ensuring that the Lounge achieves the financial targets agreed, in line with the budget
2. Motivate and lead by example, ensuring you and your team have fun at work and are proud of your efforts
3. Work with the General Manager to monitor the work of all the staff and carry out appraisals, recognise training needs and potential as appropriate.
4. Hold team meetings on a regular basis to communicate targets, standards required and company and client information.
5. Ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service and that their food service and value expectations are consistently exceeded.

Please note, this role is based at an Airport and therefore requires a valid passport / rights to work in the UK. We will be looking for a complete 5-year work / education history with no gaps more than 28 days. As you will be working at an airport, this role will include early and late shifts (earliest being 04:30 start and latest being 14:30 start).
