Assistant Intake Planner (AIP)

About the Role

The Assistant Intake Planner plays a key role within our Global Commerce team in managing intake forecasts versus target and capacity globally.  In this role, you will work closely with our Commercial and Supply Chain teams to ensure that intake targets are met and help to resolve any problems that come up.  This is a highly analytical role that requires strong problem solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across ASOS.

What you'll be doing…

• Day-to-day management of intake forecasts v targets and capacity
• Working with Commercial, Supply Chain, Carriers and Logistics on a daily / weekly basis to achieve intake targets, ensure deadlines are met and resolve queries
• Regular undertaking of analysis to expose issues and drive improvements
• Implement and maintain new reports, models and processes that strengthen end-to-end intake management
• Circulating and escalating intake information to stakeholders as necessary
• Providing intake training for stakeholders
• Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with teams throughout the business
• Deputising for Planner

We'd love to meet someone with…

• Experience at Assistant Merchandiser / Senior MAA level or equivalent analytical experience within a fast-paced Retail environment
• An analytical and proactive approach
• Clear and effective communication skills, at all levels
• The ability to handle multiple tasks, managing priorities and focus as needed
• The ability able to work as part of a team as well as on your own to make your own decisions
• Great commercial awareness
• Good organisation skills
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Meticulous attention to detail
