Assistant Designer – Woven Tops | London | ASOS Careers 

  

As an Assistant Designer you will be working closely with the womenswear Woven Tops Designer, Designing the amazing product for our twenty something customer.  If you love fashion design, researching the latest trends and want to be part of a fast paced fashion forward design team this could be the opportunity for you. 

What you’ll be doing… 

• Researching new and emerging trends, catwalks and street style 

• Assisting with artworks and prints to including hand drawn, photoshop and illustrator and creating 3-D embellishments 

• Managing admin duties to ensure the department runs smoothly ranging from photocopying, filing, organising couriers and general up keep of the department 

• Coming up with ideas for graphics and slogans for nightwear 

• Liaising with other functions within and outside of the business including buying, merchandising and suppliers  

We would love to meet someone with:  

• Knowledge and or experience within woven product 

• A good understanding of the ASOS brand and customer 

• Great time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work in fast moving and reactive business with multiple deadlines 

• Experienced in using photoshop and illustrator 

• Hand drawing and CAD skills  

• Experience within a design room environment 

• Self motivated/ enthusiastic  

• Fashion forward  

• Good organisational skills
