Doubletake are the innovation team for Frasers Group, we work with a number of well-established brands ranging from activewear to high fashion. We are quickly growing as a team therefore now require a Assistant Designer intern to join the creative who report into Fraser group head of design.

Doubletake Innovation also take part in collaborations with outside brands (most recently Zara, Ovie Soko, Courtney black) therefore along with the day-to-day tech duties this role will lead new exiting opportunities and chances to elevate your skills!

All brands we work with are multiproduct women’s/men’s including all product types ranging from activewear, wovens (e.g., ww woven dress, mw tailoring), skiwear, outerwear, knitwear, homeware, accessories, even some children's wear!

JOB DESCRIPTION

• CADs & tech packs – Assist designers with trend research, CADs, and tech packs for multiple ranges across the brand group.
• Sample room- to keep tidy, with product on correct rails.
• Fit rail - To prepare weekly ahead of fits, and assist in the fit sessions, with typing comments & keeping sample trackers updated.
• Sample chasing and tracking - To track all samples actioned and due dates, communicating closely with suppliers. Chasing sample when necessary.
• Buying samples when necessary and keep archive and log up to date 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator is essential
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop and Indesign is useful but not essential
• Previous experience creating tech packs and liaising with factories would be beneficial but not essential
• A keen interest in sportswear and creating innovative design.
