The role of the Assistant Buyer is all about amazing product for ASOS and building trend forward commercial ranges. You will be the pivotal member of the Buying team working closely with your Merchandising team and Brands to develop and buy the range for our trend forward ‘twenty-something’ customer.

What you’ll be doing…

• Help to build a commercial and trend forward relevant range with constant newness, always looking out for market opportunities, including researching up and coming beauty brands

• Building excellent relationships with your brands to shape the ranges - this is key especially when negotiating cost prices and delivery dates

• The Buying teams are incredibly reactive so you will work with your buyer to trade within the season to potientialise sales and profits

• Provide support and develop the Buyers Administrators in your team.

• Work closely with the Merchandising teams to build the range, analyse figures and react to sales

We’d love to meet someone who…

• Has previous experience working as a Beauty Assistant Buyer - this is key

• Lives and breathes upcoming trends and is passionate about face and body products

• Has excellent communication skills, especially when it comes to the brands you'll work with

• Understands who the ASOS customer is and be able to find the latest trends relevant for them

• Is super organised, able to use initiative and to work in a high pressured environment

• Has a sense of humour!
