Basic Accountability Statement:


Familiar with electrical equipment, concepts, practices, and procedures required in the control of manufacturing processes. Relies on training and experience to accomplish tasks. Performs a variety of tasks required to build, install, and diagnose electrical equipment. Will be expected to travel to various company facilities to install projects and provide support.  May lead and direct the work of others.   A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

               

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in development of unique manufacturing processes with a team consisting of manufacturing, engineering and supplier personnel. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Build and install electrical process control equipment. Construct, wire, and install electrical control panels, enclosures, cabinets, power feeds, and communication wiring Troubleshoot electrical equipment including Allen Bradley PLC base control systems, sensors, VFD and servo drives Develop and modify robot programs with the teach pendant as well as through offline software. Evaluate and test process controls for proper operation. Evaluate and test manufacturing process equipment. Follow-up and assist in all phases of:  the final production design, construction, integration, final installation, and troubleshooting of process equipment at the manufacturing facility. Update electrical drawings to “as built”. Assist in developing and standardizing to create robust processes.
