Please review the following job description:

Partner across lines of business to design and develop strategic Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions aligned with the bank’s business priorities. Collaborate with line of business (LOB) and technical stakeholders to develop Minimum Viable Product (MVP) solutions incorporating data, visualizations, and models that can be leveraged for full operationalization and enterprise deployment. Provide technical leadership through expertise across the entire model development and AI-solutioning lifecycle including solution design, architecture, data and feature engineering, model development, operationalization and monitoring.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Serve as one of the organization’s technical AI experts and drive integration of AI into all customer and employee engagement and service platforms.
2. Partner closely with other technical stakeholders to develop new AI capabilities with a focus on measurable outcomes and business returns.
3. Develop Minimum Viable Product (MVP) code and reusable frameworks that allow for expansion into production-grade solutions as well as reuse and modification for future use cases.
4. Design and implement best practices in code and solution development that optimize time to value as well as component reusability, expandability and portability.
5. Provide technical expertise in evaluating and integrating with existing approved vendors that include AI solutions and capabilities to accelerate solution development.
6. Provide support for engagement of functional and executive leaders in prioritized lines of business to generate awareness around emerging technologies / transformational AI opportunities and combine industry best practices with internal ideation.
7. Represent organization’s AI strategy at internal and external events and establish and promote world class industry best practices in AI.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent education and related training
2. Direct experience with designing, developing and integrating enterprise AI solutions, preferably at large-scale financial services institutions
3. 5+ years of experience with relevant technologies including data mining and engineering, quantitative analytics, statistics, R/Python programming, machine learning algorithms for clustering, regression, classification, Natural Language Programming including entity recognition, vectorization / embedding, data visualization, model documentation, de-biasing, explainability, and adversarial robustness engineering
4. 5+ years of experience with rapid prototyping solutions and user-interface development technologies
5. 4+ years of consultative business analysis experience
6. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
7. Ability to establish strong relationships with the corresponding technical community and provide technical thought-leadership through industry forums and publications
8. Ability to unify activities within the organization’s technology community, coordinating with other businesses and engineering organizations as needed
 

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree / MSc. / MSEE
2. Relevant industry certifications
