We can go on holiday again and events will take place again. This means that there is again a demand for licensing authorities who ensure that events, drinks and catering, games of chance and operating licenses in the municipalities are in order.

As an APV licensing authority, you will be involved in granting multiple and complex permits in the field of APV and events, the Licensing and Catering Act, Special Acts and Bibob.

A selection of the work, you can think of, among other things:

• You assess applications and prepare permits;
• You grant exemptions under the APV and Special Acts;
• You speak to citizens about their permit applications;
• You have contact with stakeholders, internal and external parties, such as municipal services, police, fire brigade and GHOR;
• You advise the board on larger and complex permits;

This is a position in the South Holland region, with the option to extend until the end of the year.

Job requirements

• You have an MBO/HBO work and thinking level (preferably a legal education).
• You have relevant work experience in the field of licensing APV (from 1 year);
• At least 6 months (internship also counts) at a government organization;
• You have knowledge of the General Local Regulations (APV) and Special Laws.
• You have knowledge in the field of events (advising) and urgency statements (pre)
• You are customer-oriented and have good communication and writing skills.
