Applied AI Analysts can leverage their data analytics, technology, and AI skills to advise clients, cut through complexity, and inspire data-driven decisions in a collaborative team setting.

 

Work you’ll do

As an Applied AI Analyst, you will have opportunities to make an impact on a broad range of transformative projects for our clients.  Applied AI Analyst will:

Use human-centered design processes as a tool to produce effective communications and solutions throughout client engagements

Strategize, architect, position, design, develop and deploy enterprise solutions which include components across the Artificial Int using the human-centered design process as a tool to produce effective communications throughout client engagements m such as Chatbots, Virtual Assistants, Machine Learning, and Cognitive Services (e.g. Vision/Image, Textual/Language processing).

Perform data studies and data discovery routines for video, voice, weblog, sensor, machine and social media data sources or mash ups of new and existing data sources.

You can capitalize on our cross-industry presence to find your niche and begin building your individual brand. This person should have strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems and communicate findings.

The Analytics & Cognitive team leverages the power of data, analytics, robotics, science and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, generate insights, and inform decision-making. Together with the Strategy practice, our Strategy & Analytics portfolio leads our clients through strategic choices and transformations ahead of disruption by driving competitive advantage through humans with machines.

The Analytics & Cognitive team works with our clients to:

Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based as well as client-owned platforms

Deploy automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions

Drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements

Required Qualifications

Core Consulting Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed by Summer 2022 in one of the following disciplines: Analytics or Artificial Intelligence

Strong academic track record (preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher)

Two to five years of relevant Analytics consulting or industry experience

Ability to travel up to 50% (While 50% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)

Designer Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed by Jan 2022 in one of the following disciplines: computer science, graphic/information design, studio art, data visualization, statistics, human-computer interaction, human factors, psychology, conversational AI design or another related field

Strong academic track record (preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher)

Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch and/or Invision

Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Ability to travel up to 50% (While 50% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)

Data Scientist Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed by Jan 2022 in one of the following disciplines: computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, or a closely related field

Limited immigration sponsorship may be available  

Strong academic track record (preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher)

Programming experience, ideally in Python, or another high-level programming/ scripting language

Experience with R, database design, and SQL

Developer Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed by Summer 2022 in one of the following disciplines: computer science, computer engineering, information management or a related field

Limited immigration sponsorship may be available  

Strong academic track record (preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher)

Familiarity with the agile methodologies & software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Experience developing web applications with SOA, RESTful APIs, and/or MVC architectures

Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript (Node.js) / Python)

Development experience with a high-level language (Java or C#)

Hands-on experience in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

Cloud development experience (AWS, GCP, Azure etc.)

Hands-on experience in SQL or NoSQL database environments

Preferred Qualifications for all roles:

Experience designing and implementing Apache Open Source (Kafka, Storm, Spark) Frameworks to process end to end data management life cycle for NLP, Machine Log Algorithms, Text Mining algorithms

Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Linguistics, Advanced Semantic Design

At least 6 months experience working with SparkCognition, Expert System, Microsoft Cognitive Services, IBM Watson, Numenta, Deepmind, CognitiveScale, CustomerMatrix, IPSoft, Salesforce Einstein, Google Cloud Platform/Tensor Flow, or Amazon Web Services/Sagemaker, Microsoft Azure/Machine Learning and common open source scripting languages

Java Programming at User Interface (UI) level

Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments

Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
