Key job responsibilities
Ownership of batch integrations in Native AWS.
Work on operations and maintenance driven coding projects, primarily Java based projects.
Mentor and train other application engineers on day to day activities.
Provide support of incoming tickets, including extensive troubleshooting tasks, with responsibilities covering multiple products, features and services.
Develop tools to aid operations and maintenance Software deployment support in staging and production environments System and Support status reporting.
Customer notification and workflow coordination and follow-up to maintain service level agreements.
Work with stakeholders for handing-off or taking over active support issues and creating a team specific knowledge base and skill set.
We have an opportunity to expand from current Batch integrations to Self-Service integrations platform as we move away from traditional point to point integrations.
2+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
2+ years of professional SQL development experience in HR/Payroll Domain.
2+ years of hands-on experience in building/supporting applications in native AWS and infrastructure as code. Expertise on Core Java, SQL (Oracle/Presto), AWS services like Athena, S3, Batch, Lambda, DynamoDb, CloudWatch is a must.
Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 7+ years of relevant work experience·
Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) and coding experience using OOAD principles·
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Experience in communicating with customers and other technical teams to collect requirements and describe technical designs.
