The IT Application Architect role within the Security Watchdog IT Team is a combination of solutions architecture and application architecture. The role will be challenged primarily with delivering the required IT architectural deliverables and associated expertise into the team for both BAU and project activities.

What you’ll be doing:

• Ensuring that the SW IT managed systems are compliant with defined Capita IT Governance and Security Policies
• Gathering and documenting of functional requirements
• IT solution design delivering traceability back to:
  o Functional requirements where applicable
  o Non-functional requirements
  Capita IT governance and security policies
• Deliver the technical design/IT architecture aspects of the required system integrations with both clients and suppliers
• Deliver and/or management of the IT Solutions and application architectural resource and deliverables for the SW IT project portfolio
• Support in project costing estimations
• Responsibility for the delivery and management of the IT technical delivery activities/tasks including identification of project dependencies and risk and issue management

What we’re looking for:

• Professional IT qualification
• Minimum of delivery of IT Solutions and or technical/application architecture within an enterprise
• Strong IT architecture experience of working within IT governance and security policy frameworks
• Proven delivery of IT architectural design compliant with defined IT standards
