Key Qualifications

• Proven experience programming in Java
• Experience with Spark
• Interest in data analysis and high scale data pipelines
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms and design patterns
• Client-Server protocol & API design skills
• Knowledge of caching technologies, key/value stores and message queues
• Advocate for test automation and software engineering best practices
• Able to adopt new frameworks or write common libraries to help increase the team's productivity

Description

We are looking for a self-starting, upbeat individual with great communication skills that is passionate about building data pipelines and web services at scale. If you have a real passion for movies and TV it would also be a big plus! You will have a strong interest in building data pipelines, be able to build APIs with cross-platform consumers and also have experience with automated testing.

Education & Experience
