The Wallet and Commerce team is looking for a project manager to manage and drive engineering projects! Our team delivers the solutions for Wallet & Commerce consumer products and works closely with multiple engineering teams to deliver results. In this fast paced matrix organisation you will need to scope and prepare projects from the beginning across multiple teams, handle documentation, effectively communicate project status, manage project risk, supervise the readiness of the development, and conduct post project reviews. Within the payment arena, digitisation of wallet content is an exciting space, this is an extraordinary opportunity to work in the team that powers Wallet, Payments and Commerce solutions for Apple.

• Results oriented, highly motivated and able to work under minimal supervision in a cross-functional environment at detailed levels while taking account of interdependencies at higher levels.
• Strong background in managing software projects and adapting or crafting new processes.
• Effective presentation, oral, and written business communication skills with various audiences and levels.
• Ability to quickly respond to changes in business scenarios, projects and resources - adapting accordingly and positively.

Description

• Manage highly cross-functional engineering projects for Apple Card and Cash, coordinating both technical and non technical deliverables and milestones. • Work with individuals from internal and external engineering, product, marketing, operations, legal and more to drive the successful launch of new Apple Card and Cash projects• Direct communication and presentation (in written form and orally) to all levels of the organisation. • Actively identify and resolve cross-functional and business issues that could impact the project• Comfortable working with remote teams located in different time zones.• Navigate and implement in an environment of ambiguity and lead teams to the successful delivery of projects.

Education & Experience

• Training in project management or equivalent work experience is highly desirable.• Preferred BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or similar technical field, or equivalent
