As a Test Automation Lead you will be responsible for design, creation and execution of End to End automated tests and framework. This role would place you in a dynamic environment with some of the most talented, creative individuals in the industry.

This role will take accountability for improving the test coverage and efficiency through the implementation of automated tests and provide leadership to a dynamic team of automation engineers. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for implementing innovative solutions that drive higher quality across the integrated software solutions delivered by the team. They will work in a team that plays a key role in enabling on-device communications and automated messaging for Apple’s media products and services. Key Qualifications

• 9 to 11+ years in Quality Assurance and/or User Acceptance Testing with 7 years of experience in test automation for end to end systems
• Experience as a leader for Test Automation with expertise in leading and mentoring automation team members
• Expertise in Python with a focus on writing test automation frameworks and scripts
• Developing automation scripts for End to End scenarios and maintaining the automation suites for integrated mobile applications
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, and Javascript (Node.JS) to automate testing
• Experience with tools like Charles, GIT, Jenkins etc.
• Good understanding of software build tools and CI/CD integrations
• Experience with design and creation of test automation frameworks and tools - with specific focus on End to End Test and On Device mobile testing
• Experience with front-end, API and back-end test automation scripting and execution
• Experience with automation of data analytics and data reporting across multiple systems
• Experience with testing activities across the entire lifecycle of the project from inception to delivery
• Experience with leading the co-ordination with multiple Engineering and Product teams to expedite issue prioritization and resolutions
• Experience creating written test reports, showcasing test progress, status, test plan completion, defects identified, and associated risks
• Calm under pressure and a proactive and self-starting attitude with excellent interpersonal skills and experience presenting to bigger teams and executives
• Highly organized, disciplined and methodical when approaching testing with the ability to thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced, start-up environment with the curiosity to develop ways to improve the automation process

Description

The ideal person will bring experience in online services (SAAS), test automation on mobile devices and a strong background in data testing along with leadership for Software Engineers in Test. Your primary focus will be to design, create, maintain and execute automation scripts to enable higher efficiencies in testing along with your team. 

You will be working cross-functionally with engineering teams to prioritize test efficiency and issue resolutions. This role requires a highly motivated quality professional who is detail-oriented and passionate about growing Apple Services.

Education & Experience
