Position Summary:
The Animal Nutrition Product Registration Specialist will support the Regulatory and Scientific Affairs (RSA) Center of Excellence by leading company activities related to the compilation and submittal of new product registration dossiers, primarily for new and novel animal food ingredients.

Interested candidates should be self-motivated, strategic problem solvers with advanced regulatory knowledge, information management, and strong communication skills.   

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a repository for product registration data and product claims support. 
• Work with regional RSA to understand and evaluate country specific regulatory requirements.
• Support and advise internal stakeholders (e.g. Research, Marketing, Ventures, etc.) regarding agency-specific requirements, data quality, study design for registration project planning.
• Recommend product testing (toxicology, safety, phys-chem, nutrition, efficacy studies, etc.) relevant to registration requirements.
• Work with RSA and Quality colleagues to support cross-functional product safety evaluations.
• Drive international registration activities according to project plan.
  • Collect and review technical documentation to ensure completeness and quality.
  • Perform literature reviews and construct summaries in support of registration efforts.
  • Prepare and submit information in agency-specific required formats.
  • Interact with regulatory agencies and consultants throughout the registration process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for preparation of additional data/information requested by regulatory agencies and author appropriate responses.
• Record and communicate registration status to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and update registration renewals when applicable.
• Assess existing products and create product suitability status statements in compliance with international and country specific regulations.
• Perform additional duties and special assignments in support of the RSA team as required.
• Travel may occasionally be required for this position.  

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nutrition, Physiology, Microbiology, Agriculture or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience with animal nutrition regulations and market entry approvals, including but not limited to FDA, AAFCO, CFIA, and EFSA.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a global, cross-functional team.  
• Commitment to continuous learning and personal growth.
