We are seeking a CRADL Facility Supervisor for ourInsourcing Solutions site locatedin South San Francisco. The following are responsibilities related to the Facility Supervisor:• 

Supervise the daily husbandry and study support activities in the Vivarium

.• Generate work orders and ensure documentation of all corrective maintenance and preventative maintenance procedures. Follow up to ensure timely resolution to issues and provide update to management when resolved

.• Provide timely, concise and effective communication regarding all facility utilities, infrastructure, process equipment, and supply chain and housing system issues to Management

.• Coordinate the movement of animals throughout the facility and assign housing locations for receipt of new animals

.• Oversee adherence to all site operational procedures and all required documentation related to the department

• Supervise record maintenance. Generate and submit internal and external reports in the required formats and timeframes; report to management on operations related issues.

• Ability to train and guide staff on technical procedures as well as animal care and husbandryThe following are minimum qualifications related to the Facility Supervisor position: Bachelor of Science in Animal Science or related field preferred , Minimum five (5) years in a laboratory animal facility of which 3 years is supervisory or management experience. AALAS certification at the Laboratory Animal Technician level (LAT) or higher /ability to successfully achieve LATG certification within 24 months.Job QualificationsIMPORTANT: A resume is required to be considered for this position.
