The Experience: 

 

The Analytics Manager leads COP’s analytical capabilities and projects. This position supports the execution of go to market strategies working with the COP Sales Leadership team through development of business analysis tools/reports, field incentive programs, quota development, among others. Cross-functionally, this position works with Marketing and Finance to carry out strategies to drive Sales.

Direct supervision responsibilities consist of one Business Analyst. This team is the key developer/driver of tools/ reports to maximize data, improve organizational business planning, and guard SAP customer database as to follow legal compliance in data sharing.

Application responsibilities include leveraging SAP transactions and flows to ensure consistent masterdata, including customer management, product setup, pricing coordination, DSO, etc.... Other solution management includes CRM (SAP C4C), Big Query (and / or like solutions), document management portals,, analytical visualization solutions such as but not restricted to Google Data Studio and DOMO.

Key responsibilities include also designing and managing territories, segmentation, customer grouping, price management for all customer levels.

The Analytics Manager is responsible for the contracts and agreements involving third party data companies and works closely with Global IT on all analytics/sales automation matters, including systems maintenance and development of new tools.

This position also ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures for the Business Development Team’s activities are documented and updated when required.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drives analytics strategy and program change management to drive data and analytics excellence

  • Leads development, execution and analysis of weekly/monthly sales reports.

  • Manage third party analytics vendors.

  • Work with GIT to develop and enable new analytical tools and to maintain and ensure proper functionality of current ones.

  • Manage North American Professional Database

  • Tracking of Sales and Detailing KPI’s.

  • Automating recurring reporting into visualization solution(s)

  • Ad hoc analytical reporting & insights

  • Manage all pricing.

  • Quota maintenance.

  • Development of target lists.

  • Drive new report development.

  • Territory realignment and account segmentation

  • Identifies and drives creation of advanced business analytics

  • Identify opportunities for data automation

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree minimum

  • 5+ years of analytical experience in sales reporting/analysis

  • Strong analytical & insights skills with expertise in Excel (or) Numbers (or) Sheets (formulas / macros), experience with 1 or more data visualization solutions (e.g. Qlikview, Data Studio, Tableau, DOMO) , comfort level with applying SQL queries (e.g. within SQL, Oracle, Big Query, etc…)

  • Prior experience in managing relationships with internal & external stakeholders
