Takes initiative to learn foundations of analytical methodology and tests, and start to learn in adjacent areas (ex. product chemistry, statistics, etc.) while also seeking to find ways to optimize effectiveness & productivity working with their technical coach/manager. Executes standardized methods, tests and tasks with relatively little input from coach/manager and are able to troubleshoot minor method issues.
Able to identify better ways to accomplish assigned tasks (i.e., simplifying methods or suggest procedural change), takes personal ownership of equipment (scheduling, maintenance/repair, IQ/OQ/PQ, etc.), and identifies ways to get results faster. Able to recognize unexpected results and problems with methodology and can modify standard methods as required to solve routine problems and issues. Able to develop new approaches and methods with significant input from manager/coach and demonstrates the ability to handle multiple tasks and displays flexibility in responding to project driven priority changes from their manager/coach.
